Orange County California based, Doug grew up constantly escaping into the world of movies at a young age. Anything from Danny Kaye’s “The Court Jester,” and Jack Lemmon in “The Great Race,” to Christopher Reeve in Superman, and of course Star Wars. Movies and TV were where the fun was at. Doug began in martial arts and became a 1st degree black belt in the art of Anging Banfa, then jumped to roller hockey where he learned how to be a team player. It wasn’t until he was invited to a school friend’s dance concert that he found his way back to movies. Doug began dancing at the age of 12 at Dance Precisions, and stayed there until he graduated high school. Over the years, his fellow dance friends and choreographers began creating silly James Bond spoof movies for the end of the year banquets. That’s when the passion for performing and filmmaking merged, and Doug hasn’t looked back ever since. He’s performed in movies for Disney, Sony, television shows on Fox and HBO, as well as music videos for Paula Abdul and Elton John. In 2011, Doug created his own production company More Brandy Productions, which specializes in the creation of feature films. His first feature film, Blood Type: Unknown, which he wrote, acted, and directed, became an official selection at the 2013 Newport Beach Film Festival and is currently available on Amazon.
